Troy Ford's Dealer Principal/Owner, Jim Taylor, was born in Eastern Kentucky and grew up in Norwood, OH--where his father worked for General Motors. He graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1964, then began working for Ford Motor Company--who relocated him (as part of a promotion) to Detroit, MI in 1973. He went on to purchase the Troy Ford dealership in 1977.
He has three children with his wife, Carolyn, whom he married in August of 1964. The couple also currently have 5 grandchildren.
When he finds free time he enjoys horse racing, as well as all of the activities his grandchildren are involved in. He serves on several community boards and is involved with missions performed by the Ginghamsburg Methodist Church.
Greg began his career at Troy Ford washing cars in the summer of 1982. He likes spending time with his wife and 2 daughters as well as volunteering for his church and several non-profit organizations in the community. He enjoys his 1973 Winnebago and his wife's sweet and sour chicken (and her apple pie).
Scott Taylor has been with Troy Ford for 13 years now. He was born in Cincinnati and is a "die-hard" Cincinnati Reds fan.
Scott attended college at the University of Cincinnati--where he obtained a degree in Business/Broadcasting. His dream car is an Aston Martin DB9 and he has a sweet spot for Graeter's ice cream!
Ted Eads has been with Troy Ford since 2001--having been with us since the beginning of his car sales career (and we're proud to be able to say that). He enjoys his job here at Troy Ford and loves being able to talk with everyone who walks through the door.
Born and raised in Troy, OH, Ted is a Trojan at heart. He is a family-guy who loves to fish in his spare time. He is also a "die-hard" New England Patriots fan.
Keith Berger began his car sales career in 1979--when he was 16 years old. He is married and the couple share 3 grown children.
He enjoys cooking, volunteering for his church, and he is an avid outdoors-man. He has owned many Mustangs over the years with his first being a green 1970 Mustang.
He looks forward to be able to work full time in ministry.
Ed has been with Troy Ford since 1985. He enjoys church functions, motorcycling and spending time with his family, especially his 3 grandchildren.
He has a degree in Bible and Music from Messiah College in Pennsylvania and a Masters degree from Ashland University.
Irvin has been in the business of car sales for 16 years--11 of those years have been with us here at Troy Ford!
He was born, and raised, in Cincinnati and graduated from Hughes High School. He is also a licensed ordained minister, as well as the president/founder of the Loving Care Nursing & Assisted Living Ministry, and has been involved in prison ministry for the past 7 years--having ministered in over 20 penitentiaries in Ohio.
His favorite food is tilapia; however, you will never see him eating red meat! He is a husband and loving father to 12 children (3 of which he adopted) and in his spare-time you may find him running, working out, or playing his acoustic guitar. If Irvin could own his dream vehicle, you'd see him pulling into work in a Mercedes-Benz S600.
Devron has been with us at Troy Ford since August of 2012. He was born in Tucson, AZ and attended school at Sinclair Community College and eArmyU.
He is a veteran who was stationed in Germany for 3 years and he's a huge Ohio State Buckeye's fan! He loves outdoor activities and claims that he has too many bonfires. He is also a loving father to 3 children.
Mike has been a part of the Troy Ford staff since May of 2010--when he began his sales career. He was born and raised in Dayton, OH and graduated from Dixie High School.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys watching football (especially his beloved San Francisco 49ers) as well as playing video games. He is a single father to 3 children, and his favorite meal is a steak and potato. He also has a great sense of humor, and in his past he did some comedy from time to time; however, the one thing he just can't get enough of is his tattoos.
If he could choose one vehicle as his dream car, it would be the 1967 Eleanor Mustang GT Hatchback from "Gone in 60 Seconds."
Joe Baker started at Troy Ford in July of 2010. He loves working for Troy Ford and with all of his wonderful colleagues!
He's a huge sports fan, including his love for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Tennessee Titans. He is also involved in the Troy Community Jr. baseball and basketball leagues.
In his free-time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and playing with his 8 children. His favorite Ford vehicles? The Ford Fusion and the Ford F-150.
Pat has been with Troy Ford since August of 1977! Before his car sales career began, he was a Big Band musician-- playing the clarinet and saxophone. He also raced Unlimited Tunnel boats.
Currently, he enjoys watching his grandson at baseball and football games; he enjoys watching his granddaughter learn and grow musically, as well
Shawn has been with Troy Ford since July of 2012. He was born in Atlanta, GA, and grew up in Huber Heights, OH--yet graduated from Tipp City High School.
He is married, and the father of a son and daughter, which takes up most of his free time. Though his favorite food is Chipotle, he could eat it every day!
Born and raised in Tipp City, OH, Dakota began his journey here at Troy Ford in May of 2011 as the Lot Technician; however, in June of 2012 he was promoted to the position of Internet Coordinator. His job title again changed in January of 2014, as he accepted an opportunity to work as an Internet Sales Consultant in our Business Development Center (BDC).
A graduate of Tippecanoe High School, he currently attends Sinclair Community College where he is earning his Associates in Business Administration--with a focus on Marketing and Accounting.
He is the proud brother to an older sister (Courtney), a younger sister (Madison), and younger brother (Justin), and notes that he enjoys socializing with friends and playing in a competitive soccer league on weekends.
His dream car? A BMW M3 or an Audi R8. He also is known for having a sweet tooth for chocolate chip cookies and/or donuts.
Nich became a part of the Troy Ford team back in January of 2014. He was born in Waltham, MA and raised in Tamworth, NH; however, he currently resides in Eaton, OH.
He is a graduate of both Kennett High School in Conway, NH (1999) and Sinclair Community College (2013) where he obtained his Associate of Arts in Communication--with Honors! A member of Phi Theta Kappa (Honor Society) and Sigma Alpha Pi (National Society of Leadership and Success) while at Sinclair, he has recently enrolled at Indiana University East where he will major in Communication Studies and minor in Sports Management and Marketing.
A huge professional sports fan, his free time is spent obsessing over his Detroit Tigers (among other teams). He has been married to his beautiful wife, Sarah, since May of 2012 (together since 2006) and the couple share a red-headed daughter, Daphne, together.
Ashley is the newest member of the Business Development Center (BDC) team, beginning her journey at Troy Ford in January of 2015. Born and raised in Kettering, she graduated from Fairmont High School (Go FireBirds!) before attending Sinclair Community College--where she obtained her Associates Degree in Visual Communications.
An interesting fact: Ashley originally met her husband, Josh, on eHarmony! They have been married since September of 2012 and have two handsome sons together (Leon and Garin).
In her free time, she enjoys getting lost in a good book or movie, which may only occur after her boys have fallen asleep.
Mike has worked for Troy Ford since 1997. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 grown children. His hobbies include boating, race cars and cooking. He still owns his first car--a 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS that he purchased from his older brother when he was 12.
Amanda started at Troy Ford in August of 2011 and has been in the automotive field since 2009. She is a 2009 graduate of Miami East High School in Casstown, OH--the same town where she was born and raised.
Her family consists of her fiancé (Mike), son (Jackson), as well as 3 dogs and 2 horses. In her spare time you will find her hunting, fishing, or riding horses.
Although he is the newest addition to the Troy Ford Service Department, Nate has spent several years in the Customer Service field, making him well-equipped for the job at-hand.
Originally a Piqua native, he has anchored down in Troy where he has lived for the past 10 years.
A father of two (a son and a daughter), he enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors in his spare time.
Ken has worked at Ford Motor Company dealerships in Service, Parts, and Body Shop departments over the past 39 years. He is also Master Certified in Body Shop, Service and Parts Management.
His favorite thing about his job is helping people through the post accident and insurance claim process, ultimately seeing how happy they look when their vehicle has been repaired back to its original form.
A graduate of FMI with an MBA, his hobbies include: bow hunting, fishing and target shooting. He loves to take rides on his "Harley" with his wife, Mariana, and loves spending free time with his daughters and his family's Daschund.
Doug has been with Troy Ford since 1988--and has been a parts guy since 1986! He went to school at National Trail, and was born and raised in New Paris, OH.
He is the guy you will see rolling into work on one of his beloved motorcycles, for as many days of the year as he possibly can. He currently owns a Goldwing 1800 and a Yamaha Royal Star and has been on a few cross-country bike trips.
He is a husband, father to 2, and grand-father to 2 more. His dream car is a Lamborghini Diablo and his favorite food is pizza.
Bob has been with us here at Troy Ford since 2002, and has been a parts-guy since 1991! He was a Fairborn Firehawk and graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors of Science in Recreational Studies--with an emphasis on Management.
He was in an Air Force family and has lived in Arkansas, Nebraska, South Carolina, Japan, New York, Ohio, and Florida as a child (and only has 4 states left to visit).
In his past, he was a DJ and a Bartender. He loves classical, jazz, rock, and pop music (as well as music in general). In his downtime he loves to swim, row, canoe, shoot pool, and throw darts.
Rodney started at Troy Ford in January of 2012. He has been a parts guy since 1984, though he was a bar manager in his past. He is married and the couple have 4 children.His favorite past-times are riding his 4-wheelers, dirtbikes, and doing outdoor activities. He has had the pleasure of riding the Hatfield-McCoy trails in West Virginia, which he's been wanting to do for quite some time. His dream car? A 1968 Mustang Shelby GT500.
Ken started here at Troy Ford in May of 2000, with his duties including shipping, handling, and delivering parts for our Parts Department.
Born and raised in Sidney, OH, his prior experience actually stems from his years as a garage mechanic; however, he actually earned his Associates Degree in Accounting from Edison State Community College.
He has two children, Craig and Katheryn, and in his spare time enjoys working on his vehicles, golf, bowling, and working on his yard.
